A yellow bye

a yellow bye

Have you ever played with the white balance of your camera? Usually is modified to get accurate colors (cloudy, sunny, shade, tungsten, etcetera) but you can alter the way your camera sees the reality.

In this case I made the white balance cooooold xD so this sunset with reds and oranges skies would be a yolk yellow yummy color surrounded by blues ^^

So if there is a lesson today is that you can have fun and paint with your camera :P

Cloud vanishing in the wind

cloud vanishing in the wind

There are sometimes moments when even friendships can end without notice. I think the worst attitude that can break in me the idea of friendship is selfishness, egoism… when the other person think that one or the rest is there to justify their existence without giving nothing in exchange. I know latinos have different thoughts, but as Aymara in our culture the correspondence is a basic principle.

I was thinking about it because I see some persons with which I have just promises to be with them when they need me, or a routine to visit them. But is evident that the more we know another person the more we know the true self of the others, and that’s well. I am not perfect and don’t ask for perfection neither, but when I notice the other person focused in him/herself I feel it’s enough. Even friendships can vanish in the wind.

I remember the cloud vanishing in the afternoon quite fast… an ephemeral art erased by an invisible hand in the blue sky.

Find the princess

find the princess

A heavy day… I almost didn’t sleep to finish a project, after that I went to pick up a jeans and a correction of my glasses but I had to cross marches of protesters for the right of life (they are Catholics) there was Mickey Mouse selling balloons but he was tired for the heat of the desert as well. When I get to the places one was closed and the other, the tailor lady, told me to come back please the Monday. Of course I understand that things happen so I went to lunch. I called another customer to take measures of his property so I had to take a bus to almost the border of the city, where you walk in streets without asphalt and the trucks are passing almost touching you, and where the markets still sell old food.

I walked a bit and went to another market to buy cheese and apples, and a kind of bread I like so much, after that in home to make my work-out and finally time to publish in WordPress. :D

Can you spot the nereid princess? ;-)

Vacas pardas

vacas pardas

I was travelling between the cities of Juliaca and Puno and I saw these brown cows, okay, brown with white. I think that was the first time I saw ones of those variety. I took the photograph from the moving bus, I’d love to just ambling around the highway. But in this country were nobody does anything without a functional reason I think (as it happened before) I would draw the attention. People with faces like this ————-> :O and me with a face like this ————–>xD

Stitching experiment

Today was a busy day, and it seems is going to be a busy night…

This is a stitched photograph but the program I used to stitch, Microsoft ICE, filled the absent gaps in this way… for some reason I like it. It’s not a photography as it doesn’t represent what was in the reality, but I like the movement and dynamism of the composition so I’d say is a happy accident.

Dragon skin

Dragon skin

…in the rocky hills, Can you see it?

This is in middle of the road that connect Juliaca (my city) to the near Lampa, the pink city, in the Andean Plateau at more than 3800 meters above the sea level in a place if weren’t for Andes would be a tropical jungle :P. The true name of my city is Xullaca; I think in the case of Lampa that’s true name.

Toothless smile

toothless smile

A morning in the capital of Bolivia. I wonder how many people know this city, to me it is quite famous but it seems more people know more about the Mexican city of the same name, I unknown everything about it except its name.

This hole… this empty space among several ages, the Republican building, the modern one, the (probably) colonial and in the background the poor blocks in the hills, from the window of the hotel seemed a kind of messy smile in the morning. It was cold so I went back to bed, hehe now you know why there aren’t so many sunrises here xD.
